Join the 'Villa del Arte' Spanish gallery at the 14th edition of Art Toronto.

Founded in 2000, Art Toronto is Canada’s only modern and contemporary fine art fair, providing unique access to the Canadian art market. An annual fall event, Art Toronto serves as the galvanizing vehicle for the nation’s art world. Considered the country's must-attend event for art collectors and industry professionals, Art Toronto is the place for galleries wishing to attract a new sophisticated market of collectors, and professionals, and the place to network with a diverse and well connected group of fellow participants.

This year, Art Toronto showcases the best in contemporary art from over 110 galleries representing 13 countries. Widely acknowledged as an important plataform for networking in the Canadian visual arts community, this fair brings together collectors, curators, artists and galleries from across Canada and around the world.

In this context Villa del Arte Galleries will participate at Art Toronto, showing works by artists including Lluís Cera and Serge Mendjisky. Villa del Arte was founded in Barcelona in 1996 by Bert van Zetten, Nemo Jantzen, Marcel and Jutta Huisman, and has become one of the Catalonia’s leading contemporary art galleries. The gallery represents over 30 national and international, established and emerging painters, photographers and sculptors.

Villa del Arte remains dedicated to the further development of the Barcelona exhibition space through homegrown projects, and simultaneously it’s in the process of opening a new Amsterdam’s space. Since 2006 the gallery has participated in numerous exhibitions, boutique fairs, and art fairs such a Context Art Miami, Art Chicago, Art London, AAF Singapore, AAF NY, FADA (Los Angeles), St’Art (France), AAF Brussels, Salzburg World Fine Art Fair, Art Hamptons, AF’SH (Holland), Art Palm Beach, Contemporary Istanbul and India Art Fair.
