'A journey through Flamenco and Spanish Films'
This project will present a series of films related to the art of Flamenco as well as Spanish art and culture.
In this first edition of A Journey through Flamenco & Spanish Films, four Canadian cities —Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg and Calgary— will be screening a few of the works of the Spanish Film director Emilio Barrachina.
Featured among these films will be the musical documentary Morente, nominated to the 2012 Goyas.
Madrid-based flamenco critic and author Justine Bayoz Espoz, whom works closely with Mr. Barrachina, will be the special guest for this event. She will be offering pre and post film chats for the movies presented in each city.
