2023 European Union Cultural Fair
“The European Union Cultural Fair” showcases the rich cultural heritage of the EU Member States through live music, folk dance performances, games and activities for children, as well as tastings of traditional European foods and beverages.
On the occasion of Europe Day, and after a break due to the pandemic, the European Union Cultural Fair is back at Ottawa’s Aberdeen Pavilion, an event that showcases the rich cultural heritage of the European Union Member States through music, food, art and more.
The celebration for the whole family includes live music, folk dance performances, games and activities for children, as well as tastings of traditional European foods and beverages. Throughout the day, participants will also have the opportunity to learn more about Europe’s tourist and cultural destinations at the booths organized by European embassies. In addition, a wide range of workshops will complete the program.
The Embassy of Spain will have a stand where the public will have the opportunity to learn about the rich Spanish culture through games, brochures, videos, and even taste some typical snacks. In addition, the Spanish Folk Dance Troupe of Ottawa will perform traditional Andalusian dances along with lively pasodobles.
