Authentic Flamenco by the Royal Opera of Madrid in Ottawa
The Royal Opera of Madrid, Spain’s major performing arts institution, presents “Authentic Flamenco,” a traditional Spanish flamenco show featuring internationally renowned dancer Yolanda Osuna in Ottawa.
After its successful run in different cities from the USA to Brazil with over 50,000 attendees, Authentic Flamenco comes to Canada. On this international tour, the Royal Opera of Madrid presents a program featuring established Flamenco artists and young promises, thus confirming the institution’s commitment to the promotion and protection of the Flamenco legacy, in which its three disciplines (singing, guitar playing, and dancing) have equal prominence.
About Yolanda Osuna
This internationally renowned flamenco dancer born in Cordoba, Spain, has led an award-studded career, from the tablaos in Andalusia to stages all over the world. Now she’s joined in a performance by flamenco stars such as Juan Fernández, Bernardo Miranda, and more.
