Las Migas 2024 Canadian tour in Toronto

Celebrating their 20th anniversary with a new album and an extensive tour, the Grammy Award-winning Spanish group Las Migas presents their latest album, “Rumberas,” in Toronto.

These four musicians break the conventions of traditional flamenco by incorporating jazz, classical, bossa, and Manouche influences. Las Migas, an all-female quartet, has been performing on stages worldwide since 2004. The group features the vocals of Paula Ramirez, the twin guitars of Marta Robles and Alicia Grillo, and the improvisational violin of Laura Pacios.

After being nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards in 2017 for their album Vente Conmigo, recognized as the best Flamenco album, they won the same award in 2022 for their album Libres.

Rumberas, Las Migas’ sixth studio album, reclaims Rumba as an international genre that transcends styles and borders, including Cuban, flamenco, and Catalan.
