Ricardo Fernández del Moral
Ricardo Fernández del Moral Pozuelo (born in Ciudad Real in 1974) began playing the guitar at the age of eight in his hometown of Daimiel. Influenced by his father, a flamenco singer and enthusiast, he received lessons from renowned masters Oscar Herrero and Manolo Martín.
At fourteen, he started performing at the flamenco club Juan Antonio Córdoba in Almagro, quickly becoming the official guitarist and accompanying all the singers who visited the club. Soon after, the flamenco peña La Sonanta in Ciudad Real also appointed him as their official guitarist.
During these years, while accompanying prominent flamenco artists from his region, he discovered that he enjoyed singing even more than playing. Encouraged by family and friends, he began his singing career, performing at various festivals organized by the flamenco club La Sonanta in Ciudad Real.
